Will my clients know they're talking to an AI?
Rosie doesn't pretend to be human. If a caller asks, she'll say she's an assistant. In practice, 9 out of 10 callers don't ask — they just want their dog booked.
What happens if Rosie doesn't understand something?
She asks a clarifying question. If after two tries she still can't handle the request (e.g., a complex complaint or a request for a service you don't offer), she texts you immediately with the caller's name, number, and a summary — so you can call them back within minutes.
What calendar does it connect to?
Google Calendar at launch. Apple Calendar and Acuity integrations are on the roadmap. If you're using something else, tell Colten during onboarding — founding customers get direct input on integration priority.
Can Rosie handle rescheduling and cancellations?
Yes. Callers can move or cancel any existing booking by phone. Deposits are non-refundable but carry over to the rescheduled date.
What if I only work certain days?
Rosie only offers slots during your set work hours. You configure your weekly schedule once during onboarding, and you can update it any time.
Can Rosie speak Spanish?
Yes — she auto-detects Spanish and switches languages mid-call. Other languages on request.
How do the $25 deposits work?
Rosie texts a Stripe link during the call. The $25 is applied to the final groom bill — it's not an extra charge, just a commitment. No deposit, no booking. Most groomers see no-shows drop 70%+ in the first month.
What does it cost to run, really?
$699/mo flat. No per-minute charges, no per-booking fees, no markup on calls or texts. Under the hood, we absorb Twilio, Vapi, and OpenAI costs — roughly $28/customer/mo — so there's no "surprise bill" on a busy week.
What if a caller is angry or it's an emergency?
Rosie detects upset tone and trigger phrases and immediately texts you with the caller's info and a one-line summary. She'll offer the caller a callback from you directly, or let them book urgently if they prefer.
Can I listen to calls after they happen?
Yes. Every call is recorded and transcribed in your dashboard — you can review the exact conversation, the tool calls Rosie made, and the final booking details.
What if I want to change Rosie's script or tone?
Founding customers can request prompt tweaks any time — Colten ships changes within 24 hours. Longer term, a self-serve editor is on the roadmap.
Do I need a new phone number?
You get a new Twilio number that routes to Rosie. You can either (1) forward your existing business number to the new one, or (2) port your existing number to Twilio. Both are free.
What about SMS compliance? Can Rosie text my clients?
Yes, via the Twilio number. We run the full A2P 10DLC registration for you as part of onboarding (required for US SMS delivery). It takes 1–3 days and we handle the paperwork.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel any time from your dashboard. No cancellation fee. Your number either releases back to Twilio or you can port it to wherever you want. All your booking data is yours — we export it to CSV before closing the account.
Is this going to replace me?
No. Rosie handles the phone — which is the part of the business you hate and are bad at while your hands are wet. You still groom, still meet clients, still own the relationship. She just stops the bleeding.
