Will my clients know they're talking to an AI?
Rosie doesn't pretend to be human. If a caller asks, she'll say she's a virtual assistant. In practice, most callers don't ask — they just want their dog booked.
What happens if Rosie doesn't understand something?
She asks a clarifying question. If after two tries she still can't handle the request, she texts you immediately with the caller's name, number, and a summary so you can call back within minutes.
What calendar does it connect to?
Google Calendar at launch. Apple Calendar and Acuity integrations are on the roadmap. Founding customers get direct input on integration priority.
Can Rosie handle rescheduling and cancellations?
Yes. Callers can move or cancel any existing booking by phone. Deposits are non-refundable but carry over to the rescheduled date.
What if I only work certain days?
Rosie only offers slots during your set work hours. You configure your weekly schedule once during onboarding, and you can update it any time.
Can Rosie speak Spanish?
Yes — she auto-detects Spanish and switches languages mid-call. Other languages available on request.
How does the $3 per booking fee work?
You're only charged when Rosie successfully creates a booking. No booking, no fee. If you're on the "Rosie Collects" payment mode, it's deducted before your daily payout. On "You Collect" mode, it's added to your monthly invoice.
What's the difference between the two payment modes?
With "Rosie Collects," Paws Desk handles the entire payment — collecting from your client via Stripe and depositing your earnings daily. With "You Collect," Rosie just books and takes the deposit, and you collect the rest yourself however you want (cash, Venmo, etc.). You can switch any time.
What if a caller is angry or it's an emergency?
Rosie detects upset tone and trigger phrases and immediately texts you with the caller's info and a one-line summary. She'll offer the caller a callback from you directly, or help them book if they prefer.
Can I listen to calls after they happen?
Yes. Every call is recorded and transcribed in your dashboard — you can review the exact conversation, the tool calls Rosie made, and the final booking details.
Do I get my own phone number?
Yes. Every subscriber gets a dedicated phone number when they sign up. You can forward your existing business line to it, or port your current number over. Both options are free.
What about SMS compliance?
We handle the full A2P 10DLC registration for you during onboarding (required for US SMS delivery). Takes 1-3 days and we do all the paperwork.
What if I want to change Rosie's script or tone?
Founding customers can request prompt tweaks any time — Colten ships changes within 24 hours. A self-serve editor is on the roadmap.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel any time from your dashboard. No cancellation fee. Your phone number either releases or you can port it wherever you want. All your booking data is exported to CSV before closing the account.
Is this going to replace me?
No. Rosie handles the phone — which is the part of the business you can't get to while your hands are wet. You still groom, still meet clients, still own the relationship. She just stops the bleeding.
